The Sheriff of Nottingham is a villain who appears in Kingdom Hearts: Heartspawn, during the Nottingham arc.

Origin

The Sheriff was a villain from the Disney animated film Robin Hood. He was considered Robin Hood's rival and had failed to capture him several times.

Appearance

The Sheriff is a large, fat, anthropomorphic wolf wearing a red and purple striped shirt and a similarly colored cap with a long purple feather.

Personality

The Sheriff is a greedy, cold-hearted tax collector and policeman who is payed by Prince John to carry out his orders. He sees himself as a brilliant schemer and fighter, despite the fact that he has always been bested by Robin. The townspeople of Nottingham fear and despise him, although not as much as they fear and despise the prince.

Abilities

The Sheriff fights with a wooden club, or mace. He attacks very clumsily and slowly, much like Pete, and usually calls his soldiers to deal the real damage.

Story

At the begining of the Nottingham arc, Robin had been imprisoned by The Sheriff, untill Blain, Cath and Kryke freed him. Later, The Sheriff caught the gang stealing tax money from the castle and attacked them with his goons. However, they were defeated in the end.
