Ilosovic Stayne, also known as the Knave of Hearts, is a minor antagonist from Underland, a world in Kingdom Hearts: Shadows of Eternity. He appears in two of the three storylines.
Appearance[]
Stayne prefers to wear a shirt of chain mail over a long-sleeve, tight-fitting shirt with alternating bands of black and mahogany. He also wears a long red cape, and leather boots. One eye has a heart-shaped patch over it, which is often black (though sometimes he wears a red one).
Personality[]
Stayne is rather manipulative, giving all of his affections to the Red Queen in order to get her favor. When Cleo shows up, he finds her a nuisance and thinks she may be after his job. However, once she takes her backseat role, Stayne largely ignores her. After the Red Queen's defeat, Stayne pleads for mercy from the White Queen before trying to kill his former boss. He is thwarted by the Mad Hatter, and is banished to the outlands along with the Red Queen.
Fighting Style[]

Stayne is fought, alongside a platoon of Card Soldiers, as a boss in Alex's storyline. While fighting, he prefers to stand back and let a few Cards go ahead of him before coming in with a calculated blow. If you take the fight to him, he tries to move back and get away while guarding, though this usually isn't effective. He often goes after Alice instead of Alex.
